Challenge
Red Bull Culture Clash, a global phenomenon rooted in the tradition of Jamaican sound system battles, made its Atlanta debut in 2023. The challenge was to honor the event’s rich cultural history while infusing it with Atlanta’s distinct identity. My task as the creative lead was to design a cohesive visual experience that resonated with diverse audiences, celebrated the fusion of dancehall, hip hop, reggaeton, and afrobeats, and captured the vibrant energy of the city’s music and art scene.

To bring this vision to life, I crafted marketing materials that balanced the global legacy of Red Bull Culture Clash with Atlanta’s local flavor. Drawing inspiration from the city’s iconic landmarks and cultural pulse, I integrated dynamic illustrations into both print and digital assets. Vibrant color palettes and bold typography echoed the energy of the four-stage spectacle, creating a seamless connection between the event’s international roots and its Atlanta debut. Through strategic design, the visuals amplified the excitement and cultural fusion of this unforgettable experience.
