Papa John (2022)

Role

Assistant Art Director

Challenge

In 2022, Papa John’s aimed to create a promotional video to warmly welcome staff back to their new workspace at The Battery in Atlanta, GA. The objective was to craft a humorous and relatable narrative that eased the transition from remote to hybrid work, fostering a sense of connection and excitement among employees.

idea

As Assistant Art Director, I collaborated closely with the production team and Creative Director Korry Richard to shape the creative direction of the video. Together, we focused on developing a lighthearted storyline that captured the quirks of adjusting to a hybrid work schedule. Through careful art direction, we balanced humor with authenticity, ensuring the video resonated with staff while highlighting the company’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive work environment.

impact

The promotional video successfully struck a chord with employees, creating a relatable and uplifting experience. It celebrated the return to in-person work in a way that strengthened morale and reinforced a sense of community within Papa John’s staff, setting the tone for a positive transition into the hybrid work model.
